Response:

I completed the five injection series of Hyalgan two weeks ago.  Unfortunately,  it did not help me at all.  I was the second patient in my rheumy’s office to  receive this, with the first one completing her series the day I had my third  one.  It apparently worked very well for her.  My rheumy told me that she can  walk without her cane for the first time in years, with much less pain.   Another thing I would check carefully before trying this is if your insurance  will cover it.  My Dr’s nurse called for approval for mine, and according to  her they told her it would be covered for me, but I am hearing from others  that some companies are not wanting to cover it.  If I can be of any further  help, feel free to e-mail me.   Bonnie
