Question:

Wow!  9 pounds from just cutting out Mickey D’s!  That’s great. Congratulations.  You have the very best reasons for losing weight.  Good luck reaching your goal. Hugs, Victoria

– Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Hi kids of all ages! This is my 3rd try at WW. Actually, maybe it is the first try seriously? My internist says I am diabetic, but if I lose 30  pounds it will get better. My knees are wearing from my 371 pound body. I lost 9 pounds just quitting eating breakfast at McDonalds. Last week was my 1st weighin at 362. I’ll let you all know how tonight goes, later. God sends his Spirit to live and work among us, and this group is proof of God’s care, as we share and care for each other :-) Joe Parkville, Maryland

Response:

Hi Joe, Congratulation to your first step. This time it will work! This is not my first time either. But hopefully the last try …. and successful. Please keep us updated! Hi Megan, today I spent time from 0700-2200 working on a project in the family room. We are building a hutch on top of the counter which is on top of cabinets, so when we get done, we’ll have a 12′ wide place to pile stuff ;-) I think I racked up some serious activity points, hauling boards, cutting, and all that. And we kept to the program, and I feel great, even at the end of a long day.And I feel like sleep will be easy tonight :-) Joe

Response:

Hi Joe Sounds like you are a handy person! All that building and stuff. I notice you said "and we kept to program…" do you have a "diet buddy" ? It’s Sunday night here 10:48pm so I had better get to bed or I wont be fit for anything tomorrow. Keep up the good work (the building and the weight loss) Megan

My reason for joining WW is because I am 40 lbs overweight and have high blood pressure along with a cholesterol problem. I am allergic to Lescol and Lipitor so I feel loosing the weight will lower my cholesterol significantly so that I won’t have to try any more Cholesterol meds and maybe even get off the BP meds. Dianne

Response:

This is my second try at WW too.  Was within 5 lbs of my goal the last time.  Wish I had stuck too it. Dianne

Response:

Hi, Dianne! I was recently able to go off BP meds because of my weight loss. It was a great accomplishment for me, and I hope you will have a similar success. Good luck with the program.
